Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs!
Bacon Cheeseburger bombs are not only delicious, they’re simple to put together and my kids just gobble them up… who am I kidding, so do I!!
A warm crispy sesame crust loaded up with gooey cheese, seasoned ground beef, onions, bacon and all the fixin’s packed into one neat tidy little bundle! The best part is that these are actually very quick to make!
These are actually a really great simple dinner, lunch or even a great snack. If you have any leftovers, these reheat perfectly. We make them ahead of time and add them to lunches. Not only do they kids love them, they take about 30 seconds to reheat and are so much better than store bought pizza pockets!
You can find biscuits in the refrigerator section of most supermarkets making these extra easy and quick. If you don’t want to use pre-made biscuits, you can use homemade biscuits and get great results! Mushrooms or grated carrots are the perfect way to add some extra veggies to this recipe!
If you have any leftover beef mixture, it’s delicious in a roll or as a wrap for a quick lunch… or add it to a grilled cheese for a truly amazing sandwich!

Do you use Grands or the really small biscuits?
Hi Monoca, we use the biscuits that come with 10 in the can. They are not really small but an average size. Hopefully that helps!
Has anyone made them in air fryer? Temp? How long?
I haven’t made these in the air fryer but I would think the cooking time would be similar to our air fryer pizza rolls. Let us know how it goes!
The more I make this recipe, the more I love it. My whole family enjoys this. Sometimes we add pickles for that try burger flavor. Thanks for the awesome and easy recipe
Yum! The canned biscuits became pillowy soft pockets to hold a delicious beef filling. The leftover bombs were even tasty after being reheated in the microwave. I think they look just as great as they taste. Thanks for another great recipe!
Is it possible to put these together, store them and cook them the next morning?
Hi Morgan, we often make these ahead and cook fully. Then you can just reheat quickly when ready to serve!
So delicious!! This is a football staple for us.
On those days we try to be a bit more carb-aware, I’ve also made the filling with venison and stirred 2 slices of cheddar into it, then stuffed some red/yellow/orange peppers with it. Yum
I like these recipies !!
Simply outstanding recipe. I made one minor change. I added a jalapeno chip to each bomb.
This is my most requested item that I love to make. The only change I make is homemade bread dough. It is a lot more work but so worth the effort, plus I triple the recipe because in my house they don’t last long.
Really good, fast and easy!
Thanks Berta! So happy you enjoyed it.
Made this for a party following the directions exactly and it was a hit! I got another request for it for our next party, this time I’m going to half the biscuits and make smaller one bite portions.
I am thrilled that this recipe was a hit with your guests Pamela!
Yum, these look and sound so good…. will try them soon. Could u please tell me how large of a circle did you roll the biscuit dough into? An approximate size please…. so I can have a idea when I make these. I also think the Pizza Bombs sound amazing too! Thanks so much. :)
I’d say about 4″-5″. Enjoy Tess!
I made this last night for dinner and it was amazing! My husband wasn’t a fan of the sweetness from the cream cheese, and I substituted Colby Jack for the cheese cubes, but I thought the recipe itself was fantastic and so creative. It was also really easy to make which I appreciated. I plan on trying to make these as mushroom and swiss burger bombs, and definitely hot ham and cheese bombs!
Those sound like delicious variations of this recipe Jennifer! I am so glad you enjoyed the recipe!
